This summer I was involved in an extraordinary event.  I had the opportunity to travel to South Africa with Campus Crusade's Impact Movement, as a part of their Media Team.  The Impact Movement is an organization within Campus Crusade that provides evangelistic outreach to African American and minority college students.  I did not know this at the time, but the near 200 students that I accompanied on this trip were the largest single mobilization of African American missionaries in history!

70 out of the total group were actually in South Africa with me.  The Lord really moved through these students.  Throughout Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg there were 1,834 who heard the Gospel and 622 souls led to Christ!
There were also students in other areas of Africa who  were used of the Lord in a mighty way.

The students in Botswana led over 100 souls to the Lord and the Kenya team saw nearly 700 souls come to know the Savior!
While in Durban I was blessed to spend some time with missionary Doug Wigden.  Doug is truly on fire for the Lord and has a tremendous youth ministry among the Zulu people.

He took me into Zulu country where I met traditional families, learned about their life style, ate with them and prayed with them.  Doug was instrumental in helping me get the majority of the scenic video footage I took in and around Durban.   Please pray for Doug's ministry Asendeze (Zulu for "I can Fly!")
The video that I shot will be compiled with footage from the other videographers in Kenya and Ethiopia and shown at the annual Impact conference which will be held this December in Washington D.C.   I've included some still shots from the video in this newsletter.

Many of you supported and prayed for me during my preparation for South Africa. THANK YOU! The Lord truly answered your prayers!
