to screen at the
Black Male Development Symposium

"DON'T FALL DOWN IN THE HOOD" will be featured at the Black Male Development Symposium on May 15, 2010. The scrreening will be held in the Kuch Gymnasium at 2:30 pm. A Q&A discussion will be held on youth violence prevention featuring film producer/director Dianne R. Thompson and Don't Fall Down in the Hood program founder Archye Leacock.

DVDs will be on sale at the event. Proceeds from DVD sales will go to the Don't Fall Down in the Hood program, which recently lost over $100,000 in funding due to city and state budget cuts.

DON'T FALL DOWN IN THE HOOD - World Premiere a Success
April 6, 2009

Showing to a near sellout crowd, the world premiere of "DON'T FALL DOWN IN THE HOOD" at he 2009 Philadelphia Cinefest was a success.

Producer/Director Dianne R. Thompson was featured in Dan Gross' April 2nd Daily News column, which contributed to the great turnout.

Following the screening, Thompson, Don’t Fall Down in the Hood program director Andre Chin, and 15 youth from the program fielded numerous questions from an enthusiastic audience.
