Who we are

Almost three years ago, the Lord led Dianne Thompson to establish HighRise Video Productions to provide video production services to missions and evangelical organizations at the lowest cost possible - or no cost at all!.
In that time, Dianne has created promotional, event, training and short documentary videos for various local and national organizations including Christian Research and Development, The Center for Urban Theological Studies and Campus Crusade for Christ.

Our Mission

Over the past few years, many missions organizations have begun to realize that from a world perspective, people of color are more receptive to the gospel when they hear it from other people of color. Yet, less than 1% of missionaries around the world are African American.  A primary focus of HighRise Video Productions is to use visual media to inform and encourage African American Christians to get involved with the Great Commission.  Dianne has traveled to the mid-west, the west coast, Mexico, Kenya and most recently South and West Africa to help missions organizations create video presentations about their ministry, how God is using them and how the Body can pray for and support them.  Video has a tremendous impact on those who watch it.  Although we do not often get the opportunity to measure the results of our productions, in one case when Christian Stronghold displayed a video Dianne produced about their annual short-term trip to Mexico, participation in the ministry tripled.

Our Ministry

While the average production company charges anywhere from $1000 to $5000 per finished minute of video, the majority of missions related videos we produce at HighRise are done at cost, literally.  We do not make a profit from our services.

How do we do this?
